Yosemite for Josh’s 30th B-Day
Jamie and I just got back from Yosemite for Josh’s birthday celebration. We left for camp from Santa Monica Friday morning, not as early as we would have liked though. I was left in charge of the alarm clock and snooze button, which is never a smart idea. I set the alarm for 5 am and we ended up waking by 8:30 (yes I snoozed for 3 and a half hours!) and leaving by 9:30. On the way up California, I drove while Josh had his nose in the PSP playing Bust-a-Move Deluxe and Jamie was on snoozing with her mouth open and left ear resting on her shoulder.
Eventually we met up with Jon and Dave, had dinner and drank away the Friday night.
The next day we went on a nature walk around Yosemite Valley. It was fun checking out the waterfalls and landscape.
Fortunately for Josh, he rode home with Jon and Dave because I got to receive the joy of listening Jamie sing 4 Non Blondes and Whitney Houston on the way out of Yosemite!
By the end of the weekend I felt refreshed and ready to jump back into the new Job at PathConnect.com.
I wanted to say thanks to Jon for planning the trip and reserving the camp site!
