Boards of Canada
David has turned me on to Boards of Canada.
I don’t really have the musical vernacular to accurately describe them, but here is my attempt anyway.
Their music is kind of like electrorganic ambient sounds organized into a chaotic melody that soothes.
In a way this album sort of reminds me of the composer Philip Glass. They are doing digitally what he does with real instruments.
